I recently came a cross a wonderful sermon on parenting by Darrin Patrick from The Journey in St. Louis. The sermon, titled “How to teach your children about God” was both convicting and encouraging. A few highlights for me, in point form of course…
1. Discipline attitude not just action.
2. Our kids will learn more from what we are excited about than what we teach them.
3. Don’t worry that you’re children rarely listen to you, worry that they’re always watching.
4. Avoid the “mini pulpit” mentality.
